Self contained boutique accommodation

St Helens, Tasmania

Nestled into the hillside on the edge of town, Tully Cottage is perfectly located to combine beach and bush access with the peace and privacy of our 6 acre country property.

Here you can enjoy the comfort of a self contained cottage with plenty of space to stroll the extensive gardens, sample the fruit trees in season and listen for the calls of the thornbills, honeyeaters, finches and kookaburras that call 204 Tully Street home.

The cottage is close enough to duck into town to sample the local produce and eateries, but distant enough to escape the hustle, curl up with a book, or settle in with a glass of local wine in front of the cosy outdoor fireplace.

St Helens is a fantastic base to explore the north-east of Tasmania, and is ideally located for access to the stunning beaches of the Bay of Fires. The region is a nirvana for cyclists, boasting a local network of MTB trails, a never-ending array of gravel tracks and fire roads, and the famed Blue Derby trail network an hour away. It’s also the jump off point for shuttles to the Bay of Fires trail – which takes riders from the lofty Blue Tier on an undulating forest trail spilling out on the stunning white sands of Swimcart Beach near Binalong Bay.

We’re keen riders ourselves and have bike storage, cleaning and space to tinker available – ask us about trail information and local bike hire and shuttle services.

As newly minted Tasmanians we are super excited about our new home – we invite you to explore the region, enjoy the local food and wine and experience some of the numerous walks around bays, along beaches and across mountains. If looking for outdoor activities you are spoilt for choice here – grab a board and go for a surf, drop in a fishing line, snorkel in rock pools or jump in a kayak to explore the river or bay.

We look forward to welcoming you.
